Job summary

Taylor Thomson Whitting is seeking an Associate Director Flood to lead a team of flood engineers and drive project delivery in line with TTW standards. You will manage complex, large-scale projects, oversee staffing and forecasting, and cultivate strong client relationships.

Bring a decade of flood engineering experience, expert knowledge of Australian standards, and proven leadership. You will mentor staff, support business growth, and ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• Ten years+ flood engineering experience in consulting.
• Ability to provide high-level advice on major projects.
• Demonstrated team leadership and management ability.
• Excellent understanding of Authority requirements and Australian Standards.
• Strong project management to deliver on time and budget.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of flood engineers and report to Flood Manager/Director.
• Manage technical and contractual aspects ensuring compliance and scope.
• Develop practical, economical engineering solutions.
• Build and maintain client relationships and databases.
• Influence stakeholders and manage external relations.
• Lead production of analyses, reports, proposals and docs.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, resourcing and progress monitoring.
• Support policy development and TTW standards.
