Job summary

Sylvanvale Limited, a not-for-profit disability service provider, seeks a Flexible Support Worker to support clients at home and in the community. You will help clients build independence, confidence and daily living skills while staying connected to meaningful activities and networks.

This role supports clients with a female preference and involves outings, appointments, and household tasks. Training and ongoing development are provided in a rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting people with disability.
• Experience in community-based support preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support at clients' homes and in the community.
• Help clients build daily living skills and confidence.
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, transport, meals, and activities.

As a Flexible Support Worker,you'll provide one-on-one support at home and in the community,helping clients build confidence, develop daily living skills,achieve their individual goals and stay connected to the people andactivities that matter most tothem.

Every day is different, fromattending appointments and shopping to using public transport,preparing meals, supporting household tasks, exploring localattractions or enjoying a coffee at a favourite café. Along theway, you'll encourage social inclusion, foster independence andbuild positive relationships with clients, families and the widersupport network.

For this particular role, theclient's preference is for a female SupportWorker.
