Job summary

SMEC is a global engineering consultancy and Adelaide-based team; we seek a Team Administrator to provide essential support to the Roads & Highways group. You will help manage documentation, reporting and team operations to keep projects running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years' experience in administrative, project support, or team coordination.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Roads & Highways team.
• Manage project documentation, correspondence and records.
• Assist with project setup, reporting and document control.
• Support invoicing, purchase orders, timesheets and project administration tasks.
• Coordinate meetings, travel and team events.
• Prepare reports, presentations and other business documents.
• Support compliance, quality and governance requirements.
• Assist project managers and technical staff with ad hoc administrative tasks.
