Job summary

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking an Academic Proctor to support the Pearson English test centre at Preston. In this casual, on-site role, you will invigilate computer-based exams, verify candidate identities and registration details, and maintain secure testing conditions in line with Pearson VUE policies and Melbourne Polytechnic procedures.

You’ll coordinate intake, respond to candidate enquiries, and help with test administration, records and compliance while delivering professional,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Invigilate computer-based Pearson English exams according to procedures.
• Verify candidate identity documents and registration details.
• Monitor tests via CCTV and respond to irregularities.
• Provide courteous customer service to candidates.
• Operate testing systems and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Maintain test centre records and compliance documentation.
• Assist with test centre administration and opening/closing procedures.
• Support Pearson VUE audits and quality reviews.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in test administration.
