Job summary

Parity Consulting is seeking a hands-on Product Manager for Mortgages in Sydney to drive mortgage product initiatives from ideation through launch, ensuring solutions meet customer, intermediary and business needs.

You will shape pricing, eligibility and credit settings by translating business goals and market/regulatory updates into clear requirements, working with credit, funding, operations, technology, sales, marketing, legal and compliance to keep momentum and decisions on track.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in mortgages or secured lending, ideally in product, credit policy or lending change.
• Solid understanding of home loans from application to settlement and servicing.
• Experience delivering product or business change with business cases and working with technology teams.
• Good commercial sense, risk awareness and a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Run mortgage product initiatives from start to finish, including scoping, planning, requirements, testing, launch and review.
• Translate business goals, market changes and regulatory updates into clear product requirements covering features, eligibility, pricing and credit settings.
• Collaborate with credit, funding, operations, technology, sales, marketing, legal and compliance to keep work moving and decisions on track.
• Support pricing and product positioning with data, market research and competitor analysis.
• Identify and manage product risks and support reviews of controls and improvements.
• Use data and feedback to simplify and improve the product range.
