Job summary

Just Better Care Adelaide is seeking a Casual Community Support Professional to join our in-home aged care team as a Support Worker. You’ll provide flexible shifts across Adelaide, with local area scheduling and minimal driving.

Duties include personal care, social support, light domestic tasks and transport. You’ll need NDIS screening, a police check, up-to-date First Aid/CPR, a current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Criminal Record Check
• First Aid/CPR/Manual Handling up-to-date
• Current Driver's Licence
• Access to a roadworthy vehicle
• Smartphone with internet access
• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care (desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, medication assistance
• Social support/transportation for activities and appointments
• Domestic assistance: light cleaning, laundry, meal prep
• Support with aids and equipment
• Monitor wellbeing and report progress
• Provide updates after each service
