Just Better Care in Capalaba, Brisbane is seeking a Casual Community Support Worker to assist clients at home across the Brisbane South/East area. You will travel between clients, provide person-centred care, and tailor daily living support to individual needs.

15 hours per week with potential to increase, offering base hourly rates for NDIS and Aged Care plus travel allowances. The role requires Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or related field, valid clearances, a current QLD driver's license,

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services.
• Current & Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Current Australian (QLD) Drivers Licence.
• Current First Aid certificate/CPR.
• Reliable car, registered, and insured vehicle.
• Smart phone with internet access.
• Right to work in Australia with ability to provide 100 points of I.D.

Responsabilités

• High Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance.
• Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments.
• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment.
• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs.
• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress.
• Provide updates on customer progress following each service.
