Job summary

UnitingCare Health Pty Ltd. is seeking a Child and Family Practitioner for the Family Intervention Service in Cairns.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality, best-practice services to vulnerable children, young people and families involved in child protection. You will provide intensive support to reunify children with families where appropriate, or work with parents under agreements to address protection concerns, in a home-based intervention context with strong case management and therapy

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in human services with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, therapeutic services to vulnerable children, young people and families within Family Intervention Service.
• Support reunification or parental interventions to address child protection concerns.
• Deliver home-based intervention with case management and therapeutic skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field
