Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Child and Family Practitioner for the Family Intervention Service in Rockhampton. This permanent full-time role (38 hours/week) focuses on high-quality service delivery to vulnerable children, young people and families, including home-based interventions and case management to support family safety and reunification.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor Degree) in a relevant human services field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Current Driver's Licence required or desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to vulnerable children, young people and families within the Family Intervention Service with emphasis on high quality, best practice service delivery.
• Deliver holistic, therapeutic responses and interventions to support reunification and safety in the family home.
• Home-based intervention including case management and therapeutic interventions.
