Job summary

TransWest is seeking experienced technicians to maintain a diverse fleet of motorcoaches, shuttles, and fleet vehicles. You will diagnose, repair, and service engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, and more using OEM software and specialized tools.

Role supports growth within the Technician career ladder, with competitive pay and benefits including medical coverage, retirement plan, PTO, and holidays. Able to obtain DOT certification and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

Requires 21+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Relevant professional experience or completed vocational program in automotive/heavy-duty diesel.
Growth within Technician career path from Tech A to B to C based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoaches, cutaway shuttles, light-duty vehicles, electric vehicles, and other fleet equipment.
Diagnose, repair, and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, electrical, fuel, and drivetrain components.
Review driver defect reports and maintenance schedules to minimize road calls and maximize vehicle availability.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, labor hours, parts inventory, and fleet maintenance files.
Utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems and determine repair solutions.
