Job summary
Transdev WA is seeking an experienced Automotive Air Conditioning Technician / Auto Electrician to diagnose, service and repair vehicle air-conditioning systems across our Perth-based bus fleet. The role offers hands-on work, depot support, and potential for a company vehicle for mobile work between depots.

Qualifications
- Experience in automotive air-conditioning and vehicle HVAC
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Experience repairing and servicing vehicle A/C systems
- Knowledge of refrigeration components and system operation
- Ability to work across buses, heavy vehicles and fleet equipment
- Commitment to safety, compliance and environmental requirements
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle air-conditioning and HVAC faults across Transdev WA’s bus fleet
- Service and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, blowers, electrical circuits, belts, pulleys and refrigerant systems
- Conduct pressure testing, leak detection, refrigerant recovery and re-gassing in line with ARCtick and environmental requirements
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled servicing, repairs and component replacements
- Diagnose and repair related auto electrical faults and auxiliary climate-control components
- Perform temperature performance checks and verify cooling and heating efficiency to standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, faults, parts used and outcomes
- Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment
- Work efficiently while focusing on quality, safety and reliability
