Job summary

Sharp and Carter in Brisbane is seeking a Fleet Allocator/Scheduler/Transport Coordinator to keep deliveries on track for a busy operations team on the north side of the city. You will coordinate daily fleet movements, allocate work to drivers and contractors, monitor movements and stock, and communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams to ensure on‑time and safe deliveries.

The role offers two roster options, one weekday and one Saturday work-from-home option per month, onsite

Qualifications

• Experience in transport coordination, fleet allocation, scheduling or logistics.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Confident communication with drivers, contractors and customers.
• Experience with ERP/SAP is advantageous.
• Industry experience in transport, heavy industry, construction, cement or concrete is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements.
• Allocating work to drivers and contractors.
• Monitoring fleet movements and adjusting as needed.
• Keeping stock availability and upcoming delivery requirements in view.
• Communicating with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep everyone informed.
• Ensuring operations are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
• Maintaining accurate information across internal systems.
