Job summary

Tony and Marks in Adelaide is seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to take ownership of driver rosters, daily delivery planning and fleet optimisation. You will proactively manage delays, vehicle maintenance and driver performance while identifying efficiency improvements across the department.

The role focuses on on-time deliveries, cost control and accurate data-driven decisions to improve service levels for customers in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate logistics operations.
• Experience planning delivery runs and managing fleets is desirable.
• Strong organisational and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage all driver rosters
• Plan and manage daily delivery runs
• Ensure all runs are organised and leave on time
• Continually review and optimise runs to reduce kilometres, overtime and unnecessary costs
• Ensure customers receive deliveries within their expected delivery times
• Proactively manage any delays or delivery issues
• Manage driver performance, punctuality, presentation and customer service standards
• Manage vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdowns
• Monitor driver hours, overtime, fuel usage and vehicle utilisation
• Use GPS and delivery data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency
