Job summary

Followmont Transport in Sydney is seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to coordinate drivers, fleet and resources across our network, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable service delivery. You will oversee daily operations, manage schedules, monitor compliance, and support our drivers to achieve exceptional customer outcomes in a fast-paced transport environment.

Strong Excel and reporting skills will be used to monitor KPI's, costs and performance, and to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent planning, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of transport compliance, Chain of Responsibility and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods segregation and equipment configurations is highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of the Sydney and NSW transport network.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers, fleet and resources to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Manage schedules, route planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor operational KPIs, costs and performance using Excel and reporting tools.
• Maintain compliance with transport regulations, safety requirements and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including RF scanning and pallet control processes.
• Lead by example and promote accountability, safety and service excellence.
