Job summary

Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Fleet Controller for our Brisbane Operations team. The role coordinates drivers, fleet movements and resources to ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

You'll work closely with drivers and operations teams, maintain service standards, manage daily schedules and support the ongoing success of our network. Strong planning and leadership are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Fleet Control, Transport Operations or Dispatch.
• Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations.
• Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Excel and reporting capability.
• Ability to work in a fast paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of fatigue management and transport compliance requirements.
• Dangerous Goods knowledge highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily driver and fleet allocations.
• Monitoring freight movements and service performance.
• Coordinating route planning and operational schedules.
• Investigating and resolving operational issues.
• Maintaining compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
• Producing operational reports and tracking key performance metrics.
• Building strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service outcomes.
