Job summary

Northline in Australia is seeking a Fleet Scheduler to coordinate day-to-day operations of our PUD fleet, ensuring efficient scheduling, strong customer service, and seamless support for Freight, Warehousing, and Distribution teams.

You will plan pick-up and delivery runs, coordinate drivers, monitor safety and compliance, and report on fleet performance while supporting continuous improvement across the network. A background in logistics and familiarity with NHVR/goods handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating PUD operations and scheduling in a logistics environment.
• Strong communication with drivers and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements applicable to freight operations.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Scheduling: plan and schedule pick-up and delivery runs to maximise fleet performance.
• Driver Coordination: maintain clear communication with drivers and assist with job allocation.
• Compliance & Safety: monitor compliance with fatigue management, hazardous goods, and safety standards.
• KPI Monitoring & Reporting: track metrics like missed pick-ups, return times, and fleet utilisation.
• Problem Solving: manage delays or changes and facilitate priority freight movements.
• Fleet Presentation & Management: ensure vehicles meet safety standards and load restraint guidelines.
