Job summary

Randstad partners with a market-leading building materials and logistics company in Norwest to hire a Customer Service Scheduler. You will be the heartbeat of day-to-day dispatch, balancing customer care with smart operational strategy.

Expect to live-allocate fleet, review site inventory, and communicate with drivers and site engineers to keep deliveries on time. The 3-month contract offers potential to go permanent, with hybrid flexibility once permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, allocation, or scheduling with a 40/60 mix of customer service.
• Proficiency with G-Suite and Excel; ability to learn dispatch systems quickly.
• Ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure; strong communication with drivers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage morning order inflows and match supply with demand.
• Live-allocate fleet vehicles and plan routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Build positive relationships with site engineers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Maximise truck utilization while balancing service quality and costs.
• Navigate real-time delivery changes with clear, solutions-focused communication.
