Our client, JVS Group Logistics, is seeking a Fleet Manager in Clayton, Victoria, to oversee daily fleet operations, scheduling, maintenance coordination and driver rostering, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Diploma of Business or higher related to transport, and at least 12 months of direct fleet management experience. You will optimise vehicle utilisation, maintain records, and liaise with drivers and maintenance providers to ensure reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma of Business or higher relevant to transport and fleet management.
• Must demonstrate 12 months' recent, directly relevant experience in fleet management or similar transport operations.
• Experience coordinating vehicle allocation, rostering and scheduling in a busy logistics environment.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance scheduling, inspections, roadworthiness and transport safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily fleet operations to maintain availability and efficiency.
• Coordinate vehicle allocation and driver rostering.
• Plan and implement transport schedules for timely collection and delivery of goods.
• Maintain fleet records including inspections, maintenance histories and compliance documents.
• Coordinate servicing and repairs with maintenance providers to minimise downtime.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and operating costs to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Prepare fleet performance reports and support service improvements.
• Supervise day-to-day fleet activities and coordinate transport resources.
