Uptown Logistics is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager in Australia to oversee the vehicle fleet, coordinate transportation activities and manage drivers. The role focuses on maintaining vehicles, optimizing utilization and ensuring safety compliance.

You will monitor expenses, oversee servicing and repairs, and drive continuous improvements in fleet efficiency while liaising with mechanics, suppliers and management to support operations.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in fleet management or transport operations.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet scheduling.
Experience coordinating drivers and transportation activities.
Understanding of heavy vehicle safety and transport compliance requirements.
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage budgets, operational costs and fleet performance.
Competency in maintaining fleet documentation and operational records.

Responsibilities
