Job summary

Hospitality Nation in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and optimize our vehicle fleet. You will manage maintenance, fuel efficiency, budgeting, driver scheduling, and regulatory compliance while leading a team and implementing policy improvements for cost savings.

The role is full-time with a competitive salary of AU$80,000–AU$95,000 plus superannuation, offering growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all trucks/vehicles in the fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies for fuel efficiency and cost reduction.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality service and timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations related to fleet operations.
• Coordinate and supervise the scheduling of vehicle use and driver assignments.
• Train and support drivers on safe driving practices and vehicle operation.
• Prepare and manage the fleet budget, including forecasting costs and managing expenditures.
