Job summary

Rolleston Open Cut, operated by Glencore, is seeking an experienced Dispatch Officer to join the Fleet Management team. You will ensure optimal equipment allocation and real-time data capture to support production objectives.

The role requires experience with large mining equipment, proficiency in Dispatch 6, ProVision 3, and Terrain, plus strong communication and leadership abilities. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large mining equipment.
• Experience using Dispatch 6, ProVision 3 and Terrain.
• High computer literacy.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Previous industry experience.
• Relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Production Supervisors to optimise equipment allocation.
• Monitor mining fleet to capture real-time data for the operations.
• Liaise with Production, Technical Services and Maintenance to collect, validate, and report production statistics.
• Monitor the radio communication system, geological radar, operator awareness and equipment high precision systems.
