Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a Dispatch Operator for the Byerwen Mine Project in Queensland. You will coordinate mining equipment and personnel to achieve production targets, and monitor fleet performance using the Modular Fleet Management System to support daily mine plan priorities.

You will act as the central communication point between operators, supervisors and other stakeholders, promoting safe work practices while contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dispatch Operator or in a similar mining operations role.
• Demonstrated experience using the Modular Fleet Management System or similar fleet management software.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse operational information, prioritise tasks and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mining equipment and personnel to achieve production targets in line with mine plan priorities.
• Monitor and optimise fleet performance using the Modular Fleet Management System.
• Capture, validate and maintain accurate production data and reporting.
• Act as the central communication point between operators, supervisors and key stakeholders to support daily operations.
• Promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
