Job summary

Glencore's Rolleston Open Cut is seeking a Fleet Controller to optimise equipment allocation and monitor the mining fleet. You will ensure real-time data accuracy and collaborate with Production, Technical Services and Maintenance to report statistics.

Ideal candidates have experience operating large mining equipment, proficiency with Dispatch 6, ProVision 3 and Terrain, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork within a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating large mining equipment.
• Experience using Fleet Management Software Dispatch 6, ProVision 3, Terrain.
• High computer literacy.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and safe work procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Experience in the mining industry.
• Relevant qualifications.
• Promotes safety culture and positive workplace culture.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production Supervisors to optimise equipment allocation.
• Monitor mining fleet to capture data and ensure real-time availability.
• Liaise with Production, Technical Services and Maintenance to report production stats.
• Monitor radio, radar, operator awareness and high-precision systems.
