Job summary

Mackay Regional Council is seeking a Fleet Officer to turn data, financial insight and coordination into practical fleet solutions. You will analyse fleet and financial information, prepare reports, support vehicle replacement and budget planning, and coordinate purchases, disposals and fit-outs.

Work with suppliers, body builders and Finance to keep fleet activities moving; leverage Excel, Power BI and Power Automate to improve reporting, with Assetic for asset records.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet administration, asset management or finance.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and data reporting.
• Current C Class Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Analyse fleet data into reports and dashboards.
• Undertake financial modelling and lifecycle costing for Light Fleet.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting and expenditure analysis.
• Coordinate vehicle purchases, disposals and contracts with suppliers.
• Liaise with Finance and follow purchasing processes.
• Maintain accurate fleet and asset information in Assetic.
• Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders.
• Improve reporting and processes using Excel, Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint.
