Job summary

InvoCare is seeking a Fleet Analyst to optimise our national fleet across Australia and New Zealand. You will deliver insights, dashboards and reports for governance, cost control and operational efficiency.

Based in Sydney, you will partner with procurement, fleet custodians and operations to manage 1,100 vehicles, coordinate leases and replacements, and drive process improvements using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in fleet management or related commercial analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong reporting capability.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Strong attention to detail with high-volume data.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership and supplier management.

Join InvoCare as our new Fleet Analyst and help optimise a large, geographically dispersed fleet supporting operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Working within Procurement and reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will provide the insights, reporting and operational coordination needed to manage a fleet of approximately 1,100 vehicles safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced fleet, procurement or commercial analyst who enjoys working with complex data, improving processes and partnering with stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Produce fleet dashboards and management reporting across vehicle utilisation, operating costs, lease expiries, fuel, maintenance, infringements and accident performance.
• Analyse fleet and telematics data to identify cost drivers, utilisation trends and optimisation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate fleet records across vehicles, leases, registrations, fuel cards, toll accounts and telematics platforms.
• Coordinate vehicle ordering, replacements, disposals and lease extensions.
• Monitor supplier performance, service levels and contractual compliance.
• Review supplier invoices and investigate discrepancies against agreed rates and commercial arrangements.
• Support fleet procurement activities, including benchmarking, market analysis, tender evaluations and supplier negotiations.
• Partner with operational leaders, fleet custodians and support functions to resolve fleet-related enquiries.
• Contribute to fleet governance, technology implementation, process improvement and sustainability initiatives.

About you

You are analytical, commercially minded and highly organised, with the confidence to work across large data sets and multiple stakeholder groups.

You will ideally bring:

• At least five years’ experience in fleet management, fleet administration, procurement analytics, supply chain analytics or a related commercial role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong reporting capability.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate, high-volume data.
• An understanding of supplier management, commercial cost drivers and total cost of ownership.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and stakeholder coordination skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of vehicle leasing, telematics, fleet operations or fleet compliance would be advantageous.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Analytics or a related discipline is preferred.
