Job summary

Metrans is expanding its operations and seeking a reliable Fleet Controller to support the Operations Manager. The role focuses on dispatching drivers, handling bookings, and providing frontline support to clients with a strong emphasis on communication and administrative accuracy.

Ideal candidates will hold a current Australian driver’s licence and have full working rights. The successful applicant will join a culture that values staff and offers training and a supportive, friendly office

Qualifications

• Must have current Australian driver’s licence.
• Full working rights (Citizen, permanent resident) required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching and allocating jobs to our fleet of drivers.
• Take telephone bookings and assist drivers and clients with queries.
• Perform general admin tasks and computer-based duties.
• Support warehouse and depot operations as required.

Duties involved

• A positive attitude with good communications skills and attention to detail
• Dispatching and allocating jobs to our growing fleet of drivers
• A current valid Australian driver’s licence
• Full working rights (Citizen, permanent resident status
• Taking telephone bookings.
• Assisting drivers and clients with their queries.
• General administration tasks including computer skills
• Warehouse and depot operations as required
