Job summary

SCT Logistics is seeking a Fleet Controller in WA to efficiently schedule, dispatch, and coordinate the fleet for safe, timely deliveries. The role focuses on maximising fleet utilisation, driver compliance, and proactive planning, with Monday to Friday, full-time hours in Forrestfield.

You will manage maintenance, respond to issues, and ensure records and reporting meet safety and CoR standards while delivering cost-effective freight services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
• Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
• Proficient in using fleet management software and MS Office.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Analytical mindset for problem-solving and route optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance requirements and scheduling.
• A proactive approach to identifying areas for process improvement within the fleet operations.

As a Fleet Controller at SCT Group, located in WA Forrestfield within the Dry Transport (WA) department, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling, dispatch, and real-time coordination of the fleet to ensure the safe, timely, and cost -effective delivery of freight services. This role is ket to maximising fleet utilisation, supporting driver compliance, and ensuring customer expectations are met through proactive planning, communication, and problem-solving. This is a fulltime permanent position Monday to Friday.
