Job summary

Core Talent Pty Ltd, Melbourne is seeking an experienced Fleet & Hire Team Lead to own day-to-day fleet and hire operations within a growing plant and equipment hire business. You will coordinate fleet management, availability, maintenance and customer requirements end-to-end.

In this fast-paced role you’ll liaise with transport providers, operators and customers, drive improvements to utilisation and processes and lead a small team across the fleet and hire function.

Our client is a growing plant and equipment hire business servicing the construction, civil and infrastructure sectors. With an expanding fleet and increasing demand, they are looking for an experienced Fleet & Hire Team Lead to take ownership of their day to day fleet and hire operations.

The Role

About You

We are looking for an experienced fleet, hire or equipment professional who is comfortable taking ownership in a busy operational environment.

Your background may include:

• Plant and equipment hire

You will have a strong understanding of plant and equipment and the practical requirements involved in getting machinery to and from construction sites.

You'll also be organised, commercially minded and confident dealing with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
