Job summary

Blackman’s Brewery in Torquay is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead a flagship venue (restaurant, kitchen, beer garden) with autonomy to run daily operations and champion exciting events. You will mentor a great team, collaborate with the Operations Manager, and push growth opportunities within our brewery family.

Qualifications

• 2+ years venue or restaurant management experience across all aspects of venue operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in all areas of the venue.
• Manage emails, rostering, stocktake, ordering and events management.
• Plan and create events, especially over winter, to utilise venue spaces.
• Maintain a fun, beer-focused environment and promote Blackman’s Brewery values.
• Motivate, train and lead staff; run weekly team meetings and reports.
• Develop training programs and refine systems and procedures.
• Handle tills and cash reconciliation.
• Deliver key performance indicators.
