Job summary

Maggie Marilyn is seeking a hands-on Flagship Store Manager for our Paddington store in Sydney. This role focuses on sales leadership, exceptional customer experiences and day-to-day store performance.

You will lead from the floor, develop the team, drive KPIs, maintain stock, visual merchandising and trade events, while building lasting client relationships with our Sydney community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in premium or fashion retail.
• Strong personal selling capability and sales leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a retail team on the shop floor.
• A genuine passion for customer experience, styling and building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the sales performance of the Paddington Flagship.
• Lead from the front on the shop floor, actively selling, styling and role-modelling an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly sales targets are clearly communicated and achieved.
• Drive core retail KPIs, including conversion, ATV, UPT, repeat customers and VIP growth.
• Build and maintain a strong local clienteling and VIP culture.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Paddington retail team through regular floor presence, coaching and feedback.
• Recruit, onboard and train new team members in line with Maggie Marilyn standards and values.
• Set clear expectations around performance, behaviour and presentation.
• Ensure the store, stockroom and back-of-house areas are organised, efficient and well maintained.
• Maintain stock accuracy through consistent replenishment, stock transfers and inventory processes.
• Maintain exceptional standards of visual merchandising and overall store presentation.
• Ensure all retail systems, processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Support and lead client events, collection launches and key retail moments.
• Share regular customer, product and trading insights with the Sales Manager and wider team.
• Identify opportunities to continually improve the customer experience and drive the performance of the store.
