Hastings Deering Townsville is seeking a highly organised Rental Coordinator to support our rental fleet and deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers. This fixed-term contract runs through to the end of 2027 to cover parental leave, reporting to the Business Development Manager - Rental.

Qualifications

• Experience in rental coordination, administration or customer support.
• Exposure to earthmoving/construction industries is advantageous.
• Strong customer service mindset and responsiveness.
• Excellent organisational skills with multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail in contracts, invoicing and records.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving and solution coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage rental contracts - prepare and process accurate agreements with on-time documentation.
• Coordinate rental administration - oversee area rentals, invoicing schedules and transactions.
• Facilitate equipment logistics - liaise with transport providers for movement of rental gear.
• Support fleet readiness - arrange pre/post rental inspections and servicing.
• Provide quoting support - help Rental Account Representatives with quotations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service - respond to rental inquiries and follow up opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in rental systems and fleet databases.
