Costerfield Operations, owned by Alkane Resources Ltd, invites applications for a Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner. Based at our Central Victoria processing plant, you will plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to keep crushers, mills, conveyors and pumps running safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will develop weekly schedules, manage shutdown plans, prepare job plans with labour, parts and contractor needs, and ensure CMMS records are accurate.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule and coordinate shutdowns.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience with CMMS and MS Office.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Costerfield
Costerfield Operations, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is situated in Central Victoria, east of Bendigo and surrounded by numerous towns within a 50km radius, offering a variety of residential options.

Please note: Costerfield Operations is a residential mine and does not facilitate FIFO

Our current operation runs an underground mine and processing plant that is responsible for producing gold and antimony. The mine's workforce consists of approximately 300 permanent employees who hold various roles in professional, technical, mining, processing, and trades.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities across the Costerfield process plant. This includes preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and shutdown planning to support safe and efficient operations.

The Person

We are seeking an individual who possesses:

• Experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining, mineral processing or heavy industry.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and shutdown coordination.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process plant equipment such as crushers, mills, conveyors and pumps.
• Experience with maintenance scheduling software.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring and reliability improvement practices.
