Job summary

Northern Star Resources is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Boilermaker to join the Thunderbox operations. The role is based in Western Australia with a preference for FIFO ex-Perth on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. You will plan and perform maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will help drive safety, reliability and compliance, while creating work requests in Pronto and updating drawings and design details as required.

Qualifications

• Boilermaker experienced in mining environments.
• Current C Class WA Drivers Licence required; Australian recognised trade qualification.
• Strong teamwork and safety focus; identify and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute scheduled and unscheduled boilermaker maintenance for the process plant.
• Lead during shutdowns to ensure quality and reliability of equipment.
• Maintain statutory records for equipment and uphold safety standards.
• Create and manage work requests in Pronto with proper priorities.
• Receive daily instructions and align with Supervisors and Leading Hand.
