Oryx People Pty is seeking an experienced Fixed Operations Manager to establish and lead the Service/ Parts & PD Departments for a multi-site, multi-franchise dealership. You will relocate and set up a new workshop, recruit and develop a team, and drive service performance from launch through growth.

The role demands strong KPI management, leadership, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to workshop operations, with emphasis on EV/hybrid capabilities and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service & Parts Manager or similar automotive leadership role.
• Strong track record in managing KPIs and manufacturer targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsabilités

• Relocate and set up the new service workshop including Pre-Delivery.
• Recruit, lead and develop a team of service technicians.
• Manage daily workshop operations, repair orders and customer service.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and manufacturer targets.
• Manage warranty claims and ensure manufacturer compliance.
• Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure workplace health and safety compliance.
• Develop processes to support operational efficiency and growth.

Fixed Operations Manager - Exciting EV / Hybrid Vehicle Brands

An exciting opportunity to build a service operation from the ground up!

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Operations Manager to establish and lead the Service/ Parts & PD Departments for a multi-site, multi-franchise dealership. This is a unique opportunity which will require the successful candidate to set up a new workshop, build a small team, and drive service performance from launch through to continued growth.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Relocating existing workshop to set up the new workshop which will incorporate Pre-Delivery
• Recruiting, leading, and developing a team of service technicians.
• Managing daily workshop operations, repair orders, and customer service.
• Monitoring KPIs, productivity, and manufacturer targets.
• Managing warranty claims and ensuring manufacturer compliance.
• Maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring workplace health and safety compliance.
• Developing effective processes to support operational efficiency and growth.

About You

You will bring:

• Proven experience as a Service & Parts Manager or in a similar automotive leadership role.
• A strong track record in managing KPIs and manufacturer targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to workshop operations.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Experience with EVs / hybrids and establishing a new workshop will be highly regarded.
