Job summary

PPI Valves is seeking a qualified and experienced Fitter and Machinist to join our team in Queensland. You will perform fitting, machining, assembly and maintenance of mechanical components, while reading drawings and interpreting specifications.

The role requires a strong safety ethic and teamwork to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification, proven machining experience, and be comfortable using lathes, milling machines and drills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter and Machinist (Certificate III or equivalent) is required.
• Proven experience in machining and mechanical fitting is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality and teamwork is expected.
• Welding and fabrication experience is highly regarded.
