Wellways is seeking a First Nations Recovery Worker to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people facing mental health or substance use challenges in Windsor/Richmond, NSW. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally safe, recovery-oriented support that promotes independence and connection to culture and community.

Applicants should have a Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health or an allied qualification, demonstrate strong communication, and be willing to

• Willing to travel across the region.
• Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health or related qualification.
• National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are required.

• Provide practical, culturally safe and recovery-focused support to participants in the community.
• Identify strengths, aspirations and goals and develop plans that support their recovery journey.
• Build and strengthen connections with families, communities, services and cultural supports to promote wellbeing and belonging.
