• Experience in employment services, recruitment, sales, or a similar people-focused environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with participants and employers from diverse backgrounds.
• Confidence engaging with employers and promoting participants.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify suitable employment opportunities for a participant.
• Work with Job Mentors to understand participant skills, experience, interests and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers.
• Engage with employers to identify opportunities and promote participants.
• Match participants with vacancies based on skills and goals.
• Assist participants with applications, resumes, interviews and job-search activities.
• Coordinate and support interviews, job offers and commencements.
• Maintain accurate participant and employer records.
• Monitor outcomes and follow up with employers after placement.
• Collaborate with the Workforce Australia team to meet targets.
