Job summary

The Australian Museum is seeking an Education Project Officer (First Nations) to contribute to teaching and program delivery and to support the ongoing development and promotion of the Museum’s education offering.

You will work with First Nations colleagues, Pasifika colleagues, scientists and partner organisations to co-design programs that reflect community priorities and support culturally informed practice, while delivering learning resources for schools and community audiences.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia and meet essential requirements.
• Experience delivering education programs and learning resources.
• Demonstrates commitment to First Nations knowledge, cultures and perspectives.

Responsibilities

• As Education Project Officer, research, design, deliver and evaluate education programs and learning resources.
• Collaborate with First Nations colleagues, Pasifika and scientists and partner organisations to co-design community-relevant programs.
• Contribute to strategic direction for learning programs with the First Nations Education Lead and Head of Education.
