Job summary

Core Talent is seeking experienced Fire Technicians in Sydney, NSW for a permanent full-time role. You will work across dry, wet, passive and portable fire protection tasks, supported by a well-established company with a strong pipeline of work.

Requirements include 12+ months in fire protection, knowledge of Australian Standards, and Cert II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (or equivalent). NSW driver’s license and White Card are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months in fire protection industry and a working knowledge of relevant standards.
• Cert II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing or equivalent experience required.
• Electrical qualification is highly regarded for Dry work; carpentry qualifications valued for Passive roles.

Fire Technician: Dry / Wet / Passive / Portables

Sydney, NSW | Permanent, full-time

Core Talent are looking for experienced Fire Technicians to join a well-established fire protection business with a strong pipeline of work and a genuine focus on looking after their people.

Experience in one or more of:

• Dry: detection, alarms, fire panels, fault finding
• Wet: sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, hose reels
• Passive: fire doors, penetration seals, fire stopping
• Portables: extinguishers, blankets, routine testing

You’ll have:

• 12+ months in the fire protection industry
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards and BCA/NCC requirements
• Cert II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, or equivalent experience
• Electrical license/qualifications (highly regarded for Dry)
• Carpentry trade qualifications (highly regarded for Passive)
• Current NSW driver’s license and White Card
• A good attitude and pride in your work
