Job summary

Marble Group in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Dry Fire Technician to join our well-established Fire Protection team. You will be on-site and play a key role in testing, inspection, fault-finding, and programming of fire panels, while upholding Australian Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining dry fire systems.
• Strong fault-finding and fire panel programming skills.
• Electrical license preferred.
• Valid NSW driver's license (manual or automatic).
• Solid understanding of Australian Fire Standards.

Responsibilities

• Testing, maintenance, and inspection of dry fire systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair fire detection and alarm systems.
• Ensure work complies with Australian Standards (AS 1851, AS 1670).
• Complete digital service reports and logbooks.

• Compliance: Ensure all installation and service work meets strict Australian Standards (e.g., AS 1851, AS 1670).
• Reporting: Complete accurate, timely digital service reports and logbooks.
• Client Relations: Provide professional, customer-focused service while on-site.

What We're Looking For

• Proven background in servicing and maintaining dry fire systems.
• Strong fault-finding and fire panel programming capabilities.
• Full electrical license preferred
• Valid NSW driver's license (manual or automatic).
• Solid, practical understanding of Australian Fire Standards.
