Rassco Fire Services in Sydney, NSW, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Portable Fire Technician/Tester to join our team. This full-time role involves inspecting, testing and servicing portable fire equipment, keeping accurate service records and assisting with installation.

The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, with good communication skills, a valid Australian driver's license and willingness to travel across Sydney. Prior fire-industry experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop within the fire protection industry.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Sydney metropolitan area.
• Must be an Australian citizen with unrestricted work rights.

Responsibilities

• Conducting scheduled inspections, testing and servicing of portable fire equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire blankets and hose reels
• Identifying and reporting defects and required repairs
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
• Assisting with the installation and replacement of fire equipment
• Providing professional and friendly service to clients

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fire protection industry. Previous fire industry experience is not essential but will be an advantage.
