Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Fire Technician to join our Cairns team.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, repairs, and installation of a broad range of fire protection systems and equipment. You will work across a diverse customer base, ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable, and performing at their best.
Conduct inspections of customer sites and recommend appropriate fire protection and safety solutions.
Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire protection systems and equipment.
Carry out preventative maintenance activities in accordance with Australian Standards.
Complete installations and system upgrades as required.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant WHS requirements.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A strong customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence.
QBCC licence and relevant industry qualifications.
Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
Experience servicing and maintaining fire protection systems.
Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
Sound understanding and practical application of WHS legislation and procedures.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
