Job summary

Johnson Controls in Cairns is seeking an experienced Service HVAC Technician to service and maintain commercial HVAC systems across the region. This full-time role includes ongoing training, technical support, and career development opportunities with a global leader.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• QLD Restricted Electrical Licence is a minimum requirement.
• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Commitment to safety and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system issues.
• Complete preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Install and commission new HVAC components as required.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled technical team.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every job.
