Job summary

ARA Fire Protection Services – Newcastle NSW is seeking an energetic person to join our dynamic NSW Mining team to assist in day-to-day operations, coordinate with internal staff and clients, and ensure adherence to budgets and safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Cert II in Fire Protection, are comfortable with on-site work across multiple sites, and can log testing and defects using our service software.

Qualifications

• Cert II in Fire Protection required.
• ANSUL Vehicle Suppression System experience preferred.
• Adhere to company policies, OH&S and work practices.
• Proactive in identifying issues, materials, or equipment shortages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations and coordinate with internal staff and clients.
• Complete works on time and within budgets hours.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with clients.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Log testing, defects and changes using the ARA Fire service software.
• Flexibly manage multiple worksites and high workload.

ARA Fire Protection Services – Newcastle NSW

ARA Fire is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned Fire companies. Our NSW Mining branch is growing rapidly and seeking an energetic person to join our dynamic team to assist in our day to day operations.

The role will work closely with internal staff and our clients.

This person shall have the following experience and qualifications;

• Cert II in Fire Protection
• ANSUL Vehicle Suppression System Experience – preferable
• Work within the guidelines of the works, supporting documentation for assigned works as instructed by supervisor.
• Work closely with supervisor to complete works on time and within budgets hours.
• Work closely with customers and delivery a high level of customer satisfaction.
• To comply with company polices, procedures, OH&S polices, work practices, instructions from supervisors.
• Proactively identify and advise supervisor early of any issues, materials or equipment shortage to ensure efficiency in the works with limited downtime.
• Flexible in capacity to work on many works at the same time often have multiple works site daily.
• Excellent in the use of phone Apps, including logging of all testing, defects and changes to job site/assets ARA Fire service software

• Work within and complies with companies’ policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Excellent communications skill both verbally and written and be well presented.
• Trade background preferably but not essential

Salary Package – Subject to Experience
