Job summary

AFT Fire Protection, based in Botany, Australia, is seeking two experienced fire systems testers with commercial building testing experience.

You will efficiently test essential service systems and equipment to high standards, with minor remedial works as part of daily duties, and participate in our turn program to develop multiple fire industry skills. Flu vaccinations or willingness to undertake prior to employment is required.

Qualifications

AFT Fire Protection is an independent, Australian owned Fire Protection company with a reputation as a market leader for fire services and products. Based in Botany, we service clients in the Metro, Inner West, North Sydney and Eastern and South-Eastern areas of Sydney.

JOB DESCRIPTION &KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking two experienced fire systems testers with commercial building testing experience.

Efficiently and accurately testing essential service systems and equipment ensuring ‘uncompromising personal service’ is held to the highest standard.

Minor remedial works form part of the day to day duties.

We require an organised and enthusiastic person who understands the responsibilities associated with this role and who can competently work independently and also closely with our management and technical teams. We are looking for someone who can participate in our turning program to gain multiple skillsets in the fire industry.

Prerequisite must flu vaccinations or willing to undertake prior to employment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate for this role will have the following skill set:

Proficient in Australian Standards, including 1851.1 ect

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong data, technology, and computer skills
