Job summary

D A Fire Group in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Wet Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager. You will liaise with project teams, suppliers and builders, supervise shop drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and authorise drawings for construction.

The role requires 2+ years in fire protection, knowledge of AS 2118.1 and BCA, and experience with HydraCad or similar. Strong design, planning and teamwork abilities are essential, with an attractive salary package on offer based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in the fire protection contracting industry.
• Thorough knowledge of AS 2118.1 and the BCA.
• Experienced in the design of fire suppression systems and, possibly, fire detection systems.
• Computer design knowledge with HydraCad or similar.
• Excellent design, planning and scheduling abilities.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Self-motivation.
• Good organisational skills and an ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of preparation of shop drawings with AutoCAD and Revit.
