Last Fire Protection Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Manager & Revit Fire Designer to lead fire protection projects in Wetherill Park, NSW. The role blends strategic project management with advanced 3D fire design using Revit, ensuring compliance, budget adherence, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have proven PM experience in construction/fire protection, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with AS1670 and AS2118. On-site work and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Last Fire Protection Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Project Manager & Revit Fire Designer to join our dynamic team in Wetherill Park, NSW. This is a full-time position that combines strategic project management expertise with advanced fire safety design capabilities. In this role, you will oversee fire protection projects from conception through completion whilst preferably leveraging your Revit proficiency to deliver high-quality 3D design documentation. You will be integral to ensuring that all projects meet compliance standards, budget requirements, and timeline expectations, whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence in the fire protection industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee fire protection projects from initial assessment through to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Preferably Utilize Revit software to design and develop detailed fire protection system models, including sprinkler systems, detection systems, and emergency lighting installations
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and technical reports required for compliance and client deliverables
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects and regulatory bodies to understand requirements, obtain approvals and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation and scheduling to optimize project delivery and profitability
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify that installations comply with design specifications and relevant fire safety standards
• Maintain accurate project records, track progress against milestones and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to resolve technical issues and optimize fire protection solutions
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, Australian Standards and industry best practice guidelines

What we're looking for

• Proven project management experience within construction, fire protection or a related industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects
• Preferably Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with demonstrable experience designing fire protection systems and creating detailed 3D models
• Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, including sprinkler systems, detection systems, emergency lighting and related fire protection technologies
• Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards, particularly AS 1670 and AS 2118, and understanding of compliance requirements for fire protection installations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors and team members
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in design and documentation
• Valid driver's license for site visits and inspections
• Desirable: Professional qualifications in project management, or certifications in fire protection design
• Desirable: Experience with BIM 360/Navisworks
