Job summary

MPK Fire Safety Services is seeking a qualified Fire Technician to join our team in Sydney. The role focuses on inspecting, testing and servicing fire safety systems across residential and commercial sites, with the reliability and professionalism expected from a long-term team member.

The ideal candidate has experience in the fire safety industry, a good grasp of relevant regulations, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Experience in the fire safety industry.
Strong understanding of relevant fire safety regulations and standards.
Accreditation or certification in fire safety highly regarded.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, organized and time-efficient.
Professional and approachable with clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct fire safety inspections, testing and servicing.
Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems.
Test and service fire alarms, sprinklers, pumps, panels, fire doors, hose reels and emergency lighting.
Identify issues and complete repairs where required.
Complete clear and accurate reporting.
Work across residential and commercial sites throughout Sydney.
Travel between sites during the day and attend our Sutherland Shire office when required.
Work independently and as part of a team.
