Job summary

HOF Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Protection Technician to join our team in Northern NSW. You will carry out scheduled inspections and testing of fire protection systems across commercial, industrial and residential sites, ensuring compliance with AS 1851-2012.

Ideal candidates may have prior fire industry experience or related technical backgrounds. On-the-job training and support towards a Certificate II/III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing are offered, with a clear path for

Qualifications

• Willingness to train and obtain fire protection qualifications.
• Ability to perform inspections and testing to standards.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and photographs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
• Test fire detection, sprinkler systems, pumpsets and storage tanks.
• Inspect exit and emergency lighting, extinguishers and hoses.
• Document defects and maintenance actions with notes and photos.
• Communicate with clients and site representatives professionally.
