Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Technician to join our regional team, with the role based in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour. You will inspect, service, maintain, and install fire protection systems, ensuring they stay compliant and operational when it matters most.

Key responsibilities include site inspections, fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and project installations. The ideal candidate holds fire industry qualifications, an electrical licence if possible, and demonstrates strong

Qualifications

• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service.
• Fire industry qualifications and licences are required.
• Electrical licence or fire industry experience is highly regarded.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Effective planning, scheduling, and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer sites and identify fire protection requirements.
• Service, maintain, and repair fire protection and life safety systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance in line with Australian Standards.
• Complete installations, upgrades, and minor project works.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through service excellence.
